Sync Employee Reimbursements
Employee reimbursements submitted through Ramp sync into Rillet automatically once they’re approved and marked as Ready to Sync. This article explains how to prepare reimbursements in Ramp and how to review them once they appear in Rillet.
Before You Begin
Before a reimbursement can sync into Rillet, ensure that:
A GL Account and any required custom fields (e.g., Department) are assigned in Ramp.
The reimbursement is marked as Ready to Sync under the Actions column.
Mark Reimbursements as Ready to Sync
To prepare reimbursements for sync:
Go to Accounting > Reimbursements in Ramp.
Select the appropriate GL Account and custom fields.
In the Actions column, click Ready to Sync.
Once marked, the reimbursements will move to Ramp’s Ready to Sync section and will be pulled into Rillet automatically every hour.
Where to Find Synced Reimbursements in Rillet
After syncing, reimbursements appear under the vendor’s record in:
Accounts Payable > Vendors
Each synced reimbursement includes:
A Ramp label to help you identify its origin
A direct link to view the reimbursement in Ramp
Reimbursements will remain unpaid in Rillet until they are matched with the corresponding bank payment.
