Expensify Reimbursements & Charges
Expensify charges and reimbursements can be synced directly into Rillet once reports reach the required status. Charges appear in Accounts Payable as credit card expenses, while reimbursements are created as payable items that can be matched in the bank feed. To Sync Expensify Charges:
Once a credit card charge has been added to a report and the report is in an Approved state, Rillet will automatically sync the related transaction as a Charge.

Go to Accounts Payable > Charges in Rillet.

By default, the charge is imported as Unpaid.
You can match the charge with the related credit card transaction in the Rillet Bank Feed.

To Sync Expensify Reimbursements:
Once a reimbursement has been added to a report and the report is in an Approved or Reimbursed state, Rillet will automatically sync the related transaction as a Reimbursement.

Go to Accounts Payable > Reimbursements in Rillet.

By default, the reimbursement is imported as Unpaid.
Once imported, you can match the reimbursement with the related payor in the Rillet Bank Feed.

What if the vendor does not already exist in Rillet?
Rillet will automatically create a new vendor if the Expensify vendor does not already exist.
How can I see what expenses have been synced?
You can view which reports have been exported in the Reviews listing view in Expensify.

When are transactions synced?
Transactions sync only when they are included in a report with status Approved or Reimbursed.
