This article addresses common questions about how Ramp integrates with Rillet and how synced transactions behave once they appear in your account.
Sync Behavior
How often do transactions sync into Rillet? Rillet pulls transactions from Ramp once every hour.
Can I update or reverse a transaction after it's been synced to Rillet? Once a transaction is synced from Ramp, it will not sync again. However, you can update the synced transaction directly in Rillet. Any changes made in Ramp after the initial sync will not overwrite or update the transaction in Rillet.
What date is used when syncing reimbursements? Rillet uses the Submitted date from Ramp when syncing reimbursements.
Attachments and Memos
Are memos or receipts from Ramp included when syncing transactions to Rillet? Yes. Receipts and memos added in Ramp are automatically attached to synced transactions in Rillet—including bills, credit card charges, and reimbursements.
What happens if a memo or receipt is added in Ramp after the transaction has already synced? Due to the one-time sync logic, receipts or memos added in Ramp after a transaction has synced will not appear in Rillet automatically. If needed, you can manually attach the memo or receipt in Rillet.
Vendors and Matching
Are new vendors created in Rillet if a Ramp transaction doesn’t match an existing vendor? Yes. If a transaction is synced from Ramp and there is no existing vendor match in Rillet (i.e., the Accounting Merchant field is blank in Ramp), Rillet will automatically create a new vendor record during the sync.
What happens when I pay a synced transaction through my bank? Rillet automatically matches synced Ramp transactions to payments in your Bank Feed. This applies to vendor bills, card charges, and reimbursements. You can review or manually unmatch these if needed.
Troubleshooting
What should I do if transactions are not syncing from Ramp to Rillet? Check the following:
In the Launchpad, verify if there are any alerts under Tech Stack Monitoring for your Ramp integration.
Confirm the transaction is marked as Ready to Sync in Ramp.
Ensure the transaction date is after the Sync data from date in your Ramp Integration Settings.
Allow up to 1 hour for the sync to complete.

What Ramp tier is required to use the Rillet integration? Rillet’s Ramp integration is available on all Ramp tiers, including the Free version.
