Setting Up Payment Options in Stripe

Setting up payment options in Stripe with Rillet streamlines your billing process by integrating your Stripe account directly into your financial system. With this integration, customers can pay using secure Stripe checkout links, and you can configure autopayment to automate recurring charges.

To Enable Stripe Payments:

  1. Access your Stripe account via the Integrations section in Rillet.

Once connected, all customers can pay via Stripe checkout links by default.

  1. Go to the customer profile and toggle off Online Payments.

Disabling this option will remove all active links from open invoices.

To Enable AutoPay in Rillet:

  1. Activate the Billing Portal in your Stripe account by clicking Activate link and update the settings as follows:

    • Customer Info - On

    • Payment Methods - On

    • Cancellation - Off

    • Subscriptions - Off

To Set Up a Customer’s Profile for Payments:

By default, when there is an active Stripe connection, all customers will receive Online Payment Links.

  1. Verify this by navigating to the customer profile in Rillet and checking the Online Payments setting:

    • Online Payments: Stripe Checkout Links will be available for customers to pay via Stripe. Customers must initiate the charge.

    • Autopayment: If a customer has an active default payment method, invoices will be automatically charged to that method.

  2. The autopayment toggle will be active on the customer's profile only if they have a default payment method registered.

The customer list and invoices will display an Autopayment Icon to indicate that the customer is signed up for automatic payments.
