Add a Usage-Based Contract

Adding a usage-based contract establishes clear terms for billing customers based on consumption. This process involves defining contract details, selecting products, and confirming all relevant information to ensure accurate and consistent invoicing.

Add a Usage-Based Contract

To add a usage-based contract:

  1. Fill in the contract details.

  2. Click Next Step.

  3. Select + Add product.

  4. Select the usage-based product that you want to use.

  5. Verify that all products are correctly listed with their details and make changes as needed to deviate from the standard pricing.

  6. Set up the desired invoicing date(s) and payment terms.

  7. Check the overall summary to confirm that all information is accurate and consistent.

  8. Click Confirm Contract to finalize.

It is expected that all metrics and contract values will be zero upon initial creation unless you have commitments also on the contract.
