Update Existing Usage Amounts
Once you've uploaded usage, you might need to adjust an entry - either by replacing an existing amount or adding more usage on a different date.
Method 1: Override Existing Usage
To update usage amount using the override:
Download the "Upload Usage" template and update the usage amount for the same date as previously uploaded.
Note: Validate that columns A-F also match identically to the previous upload.
Save the file.
Click the three dots (...) menu and select Upload Usage.
Click Import via CSV to upload the template.
Drag and Drop the file or click Select File to upload it manually.
Click Upload to confirm the changes.
Return to the Customer Contracts page.
Go to the Invoices tab.
Select the Invoice Number.
Check that the updated usage is reflected correctly.
You will see the usage changed, overriding the previous amount.
Method 2: Add to Existing Usage
To update a usage by adding it to an existing usage:
Download the "Upload Usage" template and update the usage amount for the different date than previously uploaded.
Update the file with the number of units of usage you would like to add to the previous value
Save the file.
Click the three dots (...) menu and select Upload Usage.
Click Import via CSV to upload the template.
Click Upload to confirm.
Return to the Customer Contracts page.
Go to the Invoices tab.
Select the Invoice Number.
Check that the total usage is reflected correctly.
The invoice will now reflect the updated total usage, combining the previously recorded amount with the newly added entry.
