Upload Journal Entries
You can upload journal entries (JEs) directly into Rillet using a pre-filled template. This lets you record multiple transactions efficiently and keep your account register up to date. Once uploaded, the entries appear in Account Register, ready for review and posting.
To upload a journal entry:
Go to Close Management > Account Register.

Select Upload Journal Entries.

Download the journal entry template, or upload your own if you already have one prepared.

Custom fields (Field {field_name})
When using custom fields in Rillet (for example, Department or Segment), you can include them in the journal entry template:
Update the template header with the field name in Rillet. Example: if the field is Department, the column header should be Field Department.
Add additional columns for other custom fields.
Enter field values on each line.

Protips:
Use General text format for all fields except Date.
Each line can only have a Debit or Credit Amount, not both.
Always upload the file in CSV format.
