Salesforce Managed Package Integration Overview

Rillet integrates with Salesforce through a managed package to enable 2-way sync. This allows you to install Rillet components in Salesforce, configure layouts, manage currencies, and link contracts to Orders when needed. With this integration, Rillet and Salesforce stay aligned without manual exports or reconciliations.

Use this overview to understand the setup steps, and click into each section for detailed guidance.

Installing the Package

Install the Rillet managed package in your Salesforce environment (Sandbox or Production). Once installed, Rillet objects become available in Salesforce. For more information, see πŸ“„ Install the Salesforce Managed Package.

Account Layout Setup

Rillet objects are referenced to Accounts in Salesforce. You can display them as related lists in the Account detail page by editing the page layout. For more information, see πŸ“„ Set Up Account Layout.

Multi-Currency

If you want contracts or invoices to display values in multiple currencies, enable Multi-Currency in Salesforce. After enabling, you can manage currencies, conversion rates, and related settings directly in Salesforce. For more information, see πŸ“„ Enable Multi-Currency in Salesforce.

Order Custom Field (Optional)

If your Salesforce organization uses Orders instead of Opportunities, you can create a lookup field on the Rillet Contract object to reference the Order object. For more information, see πŸ“„ Create the Order Custom Field (Optional).
