Excluding Transactions from Your Bank Feed

There may be instances where you need to remove a transaction from your bank feed. In those cases, it’s possible to exclude certain transactions in your organization’s settings. To do so, follow the steps below.

Excluding Transactions from Your Cash Reconciliation Page

To exclude a transaction from your records, first click on your organization’s logo at the bottom left corner of your window. Then, click the Organization Settings option.

This will open all of your organization’s settings options. In the left hand navigation bar, click on the Banks tab.

A list of all your bank accounts will appear on the right side. Select the bank account associated with the transaction you’d like to exclude.

Now, you’ll see a list of all the transactions processed by your chosen bank.

Next to each transaction, you’ll see three dots. Click on the three dots next to the transaction you’d like to exclude, and then click Exclude from bank feed.

You’ll be asked to confirm your decision. If you’re confident about excluding the transaction, click Yes, confirm.

The transaction will now be excluded from your bank feed. You can always undo this action by following the same steps above and clicking Include in bank feed.

Note that you can only exclude transactions that have not been reconciled yet. If you need to delete a transaction which has been reconciled, you will first need to Unmatch the transaction, follow the steps outlined in this article: 📄 Matching and Unmatching Transactions with Rillet
