ARR Overrides
ARR overrides can be used to change Rillet's automated ARR calculations. A few examples of when ARR overrides can be helpful:
When you want to delay a customer's churn in the event of ongoing renewal negotiations after the end date of the previous contract
When you want to mark a customer as churned before the end of their current contract
There are two methods to creating an ARR override:
Change the ARR inputs on an existing Contract or Invoices
Add a Standalone Override
Adding a Contract Override
To begin adding an override on an existing contract, first navigate to the ARR/CARR Waterfall Report and view the report in the Rollforward view:

Once in the Rollforward view, select an amount from the contract you would like to change:

When in the contract details view, add your changes into the override fields for the Amount, Close Date, Start Date or End Dates, then press Save.

Once saved, your override has been created and you can view the impacts of your changes in the ARR view.

Adding a Standalone Override
To begin adding an override on an existing contract, first navigate to the ARR/CARR Waterfall Report and view the report in the Rollforward view:

Once in the Rollforward view, select Manual Overrides > Add Standalone Override.


Input the ARR Amount, Close Date, Start Date and End Date, then press Save.

Once saved, your Standalone Override with display in your ARR Waterfall and other SaaS Metrics:

Viewing Overrides
Overrides can be see in two ways:
Any amounts that were overridden will be see with the blue dot on the Waterfall table:

To see a summary of all overrides, navigate to the ARR Waterfall > Rollforward > Select Manual Overrides


Deleting a Standalone Override
To delete a standalone override, navigate to the ARR/CARR Waterfall Report and view the report in the Rollforward view:

Once in the Rollforward view, select Manual Overrides and scroll down to the Standalone overrides. Locate the override you would like to delete and click the Delete icon.
