Connecting Brex to Rillet
Companies that use both Brex and Rillet can sync the two together in order to consolidate their finance management. In this article, we’ll explain the basics of Brex integration setup and walk you through the process of mapping data.
Connecting Brex to Rillet
First, click on your company’s icon in the lower left corner. Then, click Organization Settings.
In the next screen, click the Integrations tab in the left navigation sidebar.
Each integration option is displayed as a tile and organized under relevant categories. Find the one labeled Brex and click on it.
This will take you to a new screen, where you’ll see a button labeled Connect. Click on it.
You’ll be taken to the Brex homepage, where you’ll be prompted to log into your account. Once you’ve filled out your credentials, you’ll be taken back to Rillet and will be able to then set up your integration settings, which we’ll explain next.
Setting Up Your Brex Integration Settings
There are four steps involved in setting up Brex integration.

First, you’ll need to select the date you’d like to sync data from. The date you select will be the first day that Brex charge data will be synced from. You’ll also need to select a credit card payable account in this step. This account will appear on your balance sheet.

The second step is category allocation. You’ll see a list of categories provided by Brex on the left side, and on the right side you’ll see a list of GL accounts in Rillet. In this step, you’ll need to map each category to each appropriate GL account.

The third step is department mapping. Like the previous step, you’ll see a list of departments in Brex on the left side, and a list of departments in Rillet on the right side. Make sure all departments in both platforms are mapped appropriately and then continue to the final step.

The final step is location settings. It follows a similar mapping structure, so continue mapping as you did for the previous two steps. This step is optional if you do not use location.
Once you’ve completed all these steps, your integration will be almost ready to go. The final piece you’ll need to set up is connecting Brex as a bank connection. We’ll explain this in the next section.
Connecting Brex as a Bank Account
Return to your main Settings page and click on the Banks tab from your main navigation sidebar.
This will show you a list of all your connected bank accounts. Click the Add bank connection button in the upper right corner.
