Uploading Journal Entries

To Upload journal entries into Rillet, navigate to Close Management > Account Register and select Upload Journal Entries

You can either download the journal entry template or just directly upload if you have already populated a template.

In the template fill out the following fields:

Custom Fields - Field {field_name}

When using custom Fields in Rillet for Department, Segment etc. you can upload the Field values on the journal entry template. Follow these easy steps:

  1. Update the template header for the name of your field. For example, if you have a Field in Rillet called "Department" the Template header should be Field Department

  2. Add additional Columns for other Fields

  3. Add Field Values on the Lines

    Example:

Protips:

  • Upload the JE in CSV format

  • Use the General text format for all fields except for Date

  • Each line can only have a Debit or Credit Amount, cannot have both
